Delay import duty with a bonded warehouse
Our flexible bonded warehousing helps keep cash in your business for longer by holding your stock under customs control, while import duty remains suspended. It also helps you to manage the impact of market fluctuations.
Import duty is generally due when goods are released for free circulation in the EU. Payment arrangements and VAT treatment depend on your setup. If you decide to send goods back out of the EU, they can leave the customs depot without ever paying import duty.

Once we have a thorough understanding of your operations, we’ll prepare and submit customs declarations within the agreed scope. Where indirect customs representation is required, we’ll first carry out a risk assessment to determine whether we can act on your behalf.

Your goods must be classified with the right HS codes to enable accurate calculation of customs duty. We’ll help you to carefully structure and apply tariff information in your article master data.
Your product records need to reflect the actual goods being shipped. For instance, if a supplier changes a garment’s fibre composition, then the record and classification will need reviewing and updating. We agree on how product changes are supplied, checked, and reflected in the records used for customs declarations, helping reduce errors and delays.

AEO-certified customs administration
Our Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status reflects compliance with customs requirements and reliable record-keeping.
AEO benefits include fewer relevant physical and document checks. It also means priority treatment when selected for inspection. AEO status supports the customs process, but the authorities still decide which checks are needed. It does not guarantee a particular clearance time for your shipment.
