Modexpress pocket sorter installation fully operational

We are proud to announce that our state-of-the-art pocket sorter installation is fully up and running. This cutting-edge system marks a major milestone in our commitment to continuous innovation, enhancing the efficiency and flexibility of our fashion fulfilment operations.

With the pocket sorter now in full operation, Modexpress can process both hanging and flat-packed goods in a seamless, automated flow. The system enables faster order processing, greater accuracy, and full traceability of every item, from storage to dispatch. Whether handling high-volume e-commerce orders or precise store replenishments, the pocket sorter ensures maximum efficiency with minimal human intervention.

Twelve customers are now successfully operating on the pocket sorter installation, including Law of the Sea, N-Brands and PSV Eindhoven.

‘This technology allows us to streamline fulfilment for our customers, improving speed, accuracy, and scalability,’ says Jan van Vlokhoven, Chief Information Officer at Modexpress. ‘It’s an essential step in our ongoing automation strategy, ensuring we continue to meet the ever-evolving demands of the fashion industry.’

Since its implementation, the system has processed up to 7.500 items per hour, demonstrating its impact in real time. Positive feedback from customers highlights the improved efficiency, reliability, and transparency of order fulfilment.
