My name is Jill and I work as a customer support employee at Modexpress. In my position I am the contact between our customers, our warehouse team and other departments within Modexpress.

I started at Modexpress not very long ago, but I immediately I felt very comfortable. This was due to the help I received from all my colleagues in the beginning, it felt like a warm bath and I was happy to see that at Modexpress everyone shares the same attitude; ‘We go for it and we do it together’. I love being part of that!

My working days look different every day and that makes every day a new challenge. All day I am in contact with our customers to make sure that the processes within Modexpress run smoothly. This contact is via email or phone and my goal is to completely unburden them. I coordinate the total flow; from the inbound to outbound process and from value added services to returns handling. In the customer support department, we daily receive notifications from carriers or our customers’ suppliers, we then make sure that the goods are delivered to us to be processed in one of our warehouses. After order processing, the goods are shipped back to our customers’ customers in various ways and for this I regularly liaise with our colleagues from the customs and transport department. Together we make sure that this is done to the highest quality standards.

Forming a team with my colleagues in the warehouse is the most important thing in my job. A good preparation is a great start. To make sure the implementation runs smoothly, we both have our part to play and when we can achieve this together, I go home with a good feeling at the end of the day. For me personally, the best part of working at Modexpress is the ‘Fashion’ part, it has always been a true passion for me and now I am able to use all my energy on this for our customers!
