For our location at Haverdijk in Helmond, we are looking for a motivated expedition employee who, together with the team, makes sure that all goods leave our warehouse on time, safely and correctly.

Your main tasks

As an Expedition Employee, you play an important role in the warehouse. You make sure that incoming and outgoing goods run smoothly and correctly. Your tasks include:

Inbound

• Receiving and unloading incoming goods
• Checking quantities and quality using packing lists
• Registering goods in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Sorting goods per customer and order and preparing them for storage or further processing

Outbound

• Checking and releasing picked orders
• Adding shipping labels and doing final checks
• Sorting shipments by route or carrier
• Loading shipments and checking transport documents

General

• Working with an EPT and (if certified) a forklift
• Keeping the workplace clean, safe and organized
• Reporting problems or deviations to the team leader
• Supporting colleagues when needed to keep the process running smoothly

Working hours

You work a fixed afternoon/evening shift:

• Monday to Thursday: 17:00 – 02:00
• Friday: start at 16:00 and work until the job is finished
  (usually between 12:00 and 00:00)

Willingness to work overtime is required.

What do we ask?

We are looking for a colleague who takes responsibility and enjoys working in a team. You recognise yourself in the following:

• Experience in logistics work (expedition experience is a plus)
• Able to do physical work and a real hands-on mentality
• Willing to work overtime when needed
• Basic knowledge of Dutch and/or English
• Experience with EPT (preferred)
• Forklift certificate (preferred)

• Salary according to scale B: €2,559.54 – €2,785 gross per month based on a 40-hour work week (depending on experience)
