Then this role within Modexpress is for you!

We are looking for a team leader to alternate the following shifts on a weekly basis:

• One week 8.00 – 17:00 o’clock
• Other week 10.00 – 19.00 o’clock

About us:

Modexpress is a fast-growing company in the logistics warehouse industry and specialises in transport processes focused on fashion and lifestyle items. We provide our logistics services at 5 locations in Helmond and 1 in Alphen aan den Rijn. Extra help, knowledge and a fresh perspective are needed at our Expedition department at Heibloemweg 10 in Helmond.

our main tasks:

As Team Leader Expedition, you are responsible for managing, organising and optimising all expedition activities in our warehouse. You coordinate the outgoing goods flows, monitor quality, and ensure that your team works efficiently and safely. You ensure that everything runs smoothly and that our customers receive their orders on time.

As Team Leader Expedition, you will be responsible for:

1. Leading the team
   You lead the expedition team, ensuring good cooperation and motivation of employees.
2. Planning and organisation
   You ensure the optimal distribution of work within the team and prioritisation based on daily operations and customer needs.
3. Process optimisation
   You identify and implement improvements in the shipping processes. This includes reducing lead times, reducing errors and optimising the storage and transport of goods.
4. Quality and safety
   You are responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, working procedures and quality standards within the freight forwarding department.
5. Inventory management
   You ensure correct handling of orders and check incoming and outgoing goods.
6. Communication and reporting
   You are responsible for good communication with other departments and reporting progress, performance and any bottlenecks to management.
7. Workplace management
   You are responsible for order and tidiness on the work floor, such that the process within the department can continue unhindered.
8. Training and development
   You supervise employees and contribute to their professional development.

Other duties may include:

Checking tarnsport documents such as CMR and trip lists and ensuring order and cleanliness in the department both inside and outside the shipping hall.

• MBO level, preferably in logistics or similar field.
• Available to work weekends at least once a month.
• Willingness to work overtime if required.
• EPT (Pre).
• Forklift truck (Pre).
• Ability to work physically.
