Purpose of the position:
As an customer support employee, you are Modexpress’ business card with the customer. With a service-oriented proactive attitude, you make the difference in our customer-oriented service. In an environment where cost efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction have an equal share, you plan and coordinate both the execution of the incoming and outgoing goods flows as well as the management of stock in the broadest sense of the word. In addition, a flexible attitude and your contribution in a good flawless cooperation with your colleagues in the operation is the key to success.
To achieve these goals you will receive a thorough internal education and training for the role of customer support employee at Modexpress. Here you will be trained in all aspects of the position and across the full breadth of the organization.
Result areas:
1. Planning:
- You take care of a correct and timely flow of information for the purpose of personnel planning of the logistics operation in order to ensure efficient deployment of (internal and external) employees across the various locations.
- You plan and follow all processes within the responsibility of Account Management based on agreements made with the customer regarding lead time, quantity and quality according to KPI/SLA agreements.
- You ensure a clear overview of priorities for open and ongoing work and consult with the Supervisor and Team Leaders on this.
- You deal realistically but flexibly with the expectations of the (internal) customer.
2. Operational execution and preparation:
- You track incoming shipments prior to delivery of goods and ensure timely preparation.
- You ensure proper follow-up of customs shipments and related documents for both inbound and outbound goods flows.
- You proactively process and track orders in Modexpress’ various systems, with extra attention to receiving and checking rush (unscheduled) orders for completeness, feasibility and workability.
- You ensure timely and correct preparation of processes for invoicing.
- You support during migrations of existing customers or implementations of new customers.
3. Communication:
- You proactively report irregularities/changes to (internal) customer/carrier for both inbound and outbound goods flows.
- You ensure optimal communication flow and transfer to the warehouse.
4. Your additional contribution in quality and added value for Modexpress customers:
- You constantly keep customers proactively informed of ongoing issues and follow up open items with regularity.
- You ensure proper quality assurance, you investigate in case of defects/wrong deliveries/incidents etc. and report/register irregularities in a timely manner.
- You ensure correct and timely information to the client (and operation) regarding work performed You know the agreements between the client and Modexpress in detail regarding KPIs, rates and other agreements.
- You ensure proper and timely communication regarding KPI and SLA agreements with the (internal) client.

The knowledge and skills you must possess to be an Account Administrator:
- You have at least an MBO working and thinking level.
- You have knowledge of MS Office, an excellent command of Outlook and Excel.
- You have experience with administrative work.
- You have experience with logistical processes.
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
